Position Overview
We are seeking an Admissions Representative to guide prospective students through the enrollment process and support them in taking the first steps toward a rewarding career in dental assisting. This role is ideal for a motivated, customer-focused professional with strong communication skills and a passion for helping individuals achieve their educational goals. The Admissions Representative will be responsible for engaging with potential students, providing program information, and ensuring a smooth admissions experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to inquiries from prospective students via phone, email, and live chat, providing accurate information about program offerings, admissions requirements, and tuition options.
- Conduct virtual and in-person admissions consultations to assess student needs and career goals.
- Guide applicants through the enrollment process, including application submission, financial planning, and document collection.
- Maintain and update student records in the admissions database, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Follow up with leads and nurture relationships to maximize enrollments and meet program targets.
- Collaborate with marketing and student support teams to improve outreach and student engagement efforts.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay informed about industry trends, dental assisting career pathways, and program updates to effectively advise prospective students.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Prior experience in admissions, sales, customer service, or a related field is a plus.
- Knowledge of the dental industry or educational programs is beneficial but not required.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with prospective students.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple inquiries and tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and virtual communication tools (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.).
