Position Overview

We are seeking a Content Creator Intern to assist in developing compelling digital content that promotes the California Dental Assistant Program across various platforms. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in content creation, social media marketing, and brand storytelling. The intern will work closely with our marketing team to create content that resonates with our audience and enhances engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop engaging content for social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.
• Assist in creating static posts, short-form videos, and reels that highlight program benefits, student success stories, and dental industry insights.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm creative content ideas that align with our brand voice and goals.
• Research trends in dental education and social media to produce relevant and timely content.
• Write compelling captions, blog posts, and promotional copy to accompany visual content.
• Assist in planning and executing content calendars to ensure consistent posting and audience engagement.
• Monitor social media engagement and provide insights on performance metrics and potential areas for improvement.
• Edit photos and videos using software such as Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar tools.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop innovative content strategies and campaign ideas.

Qualifications

Technical Skills:

• Experience with content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or CapCut.
• Basic video editing skills and familiarity with social media video formats.
• Understanding of social media algorithms, engagement strategies, and content trends.
• Strong writing skills with an eye for detail and storytelling.
• Familiarity with social media management tools such as Buffer or Hootsuite is a plus.

Additional Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
• Passion for creating engaging and educational content.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple content projects simultaneously.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A creative mindset with a strong understanding of audience engagement strategies.

Interview Process

Initial Screening Call (20-30 minutes):

Content Creation Assessment (2-3 days):
Candidates will be given a short task to create sample content, such as an Instagram post or a short video reel.

Final Interview (30-45 minutes):
A discussion with the marketing team to assess your creativity, content strategy approach, and fit within the team.
